Best shop for mods in Los Angeles area?*
Some of the mods I want to do are better off getting done in a shop but I called around and can’t seem to find one that is willing to work on my car. I am specifically wanting a shop to install bigger rear end gears and don’t know any reputable shops. Any recommendations?

Be Glad That Shops Are First To Admit They Have Not Done The 8.8 Ring & Pinion as if it is Done Wrong It Gets Spendy Doing it Over. Just For Reference Call Galpin Ford & See What They Would Charge For The Job. That Will Give You a Price Benchmark for a Top of The Line Ford Dealer.

I'll also add to that by suggesting talking with other Mustang owners at your local car meets/car show events, as I'm pretty certain there's always events in the LA area nearly on a daily basis...
Become acquainted with the other Mustang owners at those events and find out which shops work on their cars which have outstanding reputations who specialize in suspension and Ring & Pinion repair work...
That would be your best source in locating a reputable auto repair shop IMHO...

I lived in Escondido, CA and my in laws lived in Ontario CA. I was an Over The Hill Gang Member in San Diego. The LA area is hard to even describe hot rod and custom cars and the shops that service them, in some areas you trip over them. I drove over to Moon Eyes shop and then to The Truck Shop and the custom service industry is wild there, so many shops doing work on cars. So many custom parts stores. Man what a place.
And yes you can find a Rod Run or Car show literally over night of the week there. I miss that aspect of it.
