Right now my 08 GT has a K&N CAI and a Flowmaster axel-back with a Bama 93 race tune on it. Any guess on my rwhp? I'm guessing somewhere around 300. Next week my cams should be goin in, Comp ***** Thumprs. Maybe 330ish? Anyone have a good idea?

 

Stock w/manual -> 260 +/-
Stock w/auto -> 245 +/-
CAI w/93 tune -> 20 +/-
Axle Back -> Maybe a few

 

With their SCT tune , CAI , UDP's and axle back exhaust Steeda dyno'd mine at 295 RWHP and 313 RWTQ ...

I don't know for sure , but I would guess around 20 - 30 HP for the cams depending on the tune you get for it. Before I got my S/C I talked to BBR about getting cams and heads and they said with my setup , which also included the Steeda CMDP's at the time , I would get around 380 - 390 RWHP ...

385 -(295 + 10*) = 80
*estim. rwhp from CMDP's

80 rwhp from only cams & heads is not going to happen.
Maybe 40 at most, or 60 if the engine is stroked.

You forgot about the driver mod!

The proof is in the facts. I only state them.

 

Unfortunately, some forum members require proof of the power increase from a mod(or mods), instead of only a verbal power increase estimate.

 

I for 1 have seen heads make over 100hp difference. So your claim of "maybe 40" is false. But you know more than me and the proof I have seen was made up....lol
