Ultimate Mustang

I get my car next week but I'm still mega nervous to go on the track, I will eventually.
If you mean on the road, then none. I'm not gonna mess with that! I'll leave that to the ricers. Plus my car won't even be fast lol

Yeah, it will. I guarantee it will be faster than mine, at least.
one of my favorites is still my 'sitting engineless since 1984' 69 fastback...love the black-on-acapulco blue, the fastback lines, the interior, the fastback lines, the wing/slats, the fastback lines...

the ultimate to me would probably though be Jon Kaase's black S197 BOSS429, its a beautiful car, and has the ultimate overkill engine...even if blacks not my favorite color, thats a awesome machine by any standard.

Hmmm, that's a tough one.
I'd say for me personally the 'ultimate' mustang would be taking a brand new BOSS 302 and putting a 1965 fastback shell on it. That's the best combination of all those categories in my opinion.
If I had to rate my own car in those categories it'd be something like this:
2006 Mustang GT
-looks 6-10 (currently, have plans to make it more like 9-10)
-price 9-10 (I got a great deal on it, and I still think that even though the foxes and sn95s are cheaper the 05-09 GT's are one of the best all around performance bargains out there right now)
-performance 6-10 (not as fast as the new cars, that's for sure, but 300hp is still enough to get your blood pumping)
-MPG 4-10 (definitely not a strong side of these cars, but who cares?)
-prestige 3-10 (05-09 GT's are a dime a dozen pretty much, not a lot of presite there, but I love it anyway)
-room for customization 10-10 (huge aftermarket support and great starting platform, what more car I say?)
-rarity 3-10 (like I said, they're a dime a dozen.)

This! My favorite mustang ever. I don't even need to drive it. I could just sit in it and grin. You could put Shelby GT350 on a toaster and I'd buy it. Love that car.
I think it is so hard to pick just one with so many years of history so I'm going to cheat and pick 2
2013 GT500 - simply put the best performing Mustang ever and it can be had with all of Ford's high tech goodies. I never would have thought that Ford would make a 200mph, 662 HP Mustang! On top of all that performance it fixed my only complaint of the 2010-12 models (rear bumper/tail lamps)
1968 GT500KR fastback, This one is the first car that made me fall in love with Mustangs. I've never driven one but I remember looking at my father's 68 GT500KR project car that was never finished and eventually sold and thinking how great it looked even as a bucket of bolts.
1969-70 sports roof Boss/Mach1 This one is an honorable mention, partly going back to my childhood. My father used to restore specifically 1969-70 model Mustangs when he would routinely get laid off in the summer. My mother even took me home from the hospital in a 1969 Mach1!

I guess I did the 1969-70 Fastback is more of an honorable mention. The 1968 Shelby is my clear favorite classic mustang but if I could have any 1 mustang for the rest of my life I'd go with a 2013 GT500
But you called the 2013 GT500 the best performer. Ill say most powerful but not best performer. I really believe it has too much power to perform well without some serious mods.
To my recollection there isn't any mustang that could accelerate faster, brake quicker or turn track times as fast as a 2013 GT500....so what are you talking that's a better performer than that?
+1 I remember people saying the Boss was a better drivers car compared to the 2011-12 GT500 I think the 2013 is the new Best Mustang ever!
My opinion is this- Yes ""MY OPINION""
This car meets every single criteria you asked for:

-looks: 1970 Boss 429 (great basic lines, understated menace), S197 Bullitts are up there too, the Steve McQueen of Mustang style and classiness.
-price: Base FoxStang (not much car for not much coin, but got you in a Stang, cheap)
-performance: 2013 Boss 302 (GT500 faster in a straight line but Boss better overall performer)
-MPG: Not sure, possibly a four-banger SN95 (or any of the other later model base Mustangs)
-prestige: Boss 429 or GT500 (Old school vs. new school)
-room for customization: Foxstang 5.0 (cheap, simple, plentiful parts)
-rarity: 1967 427 GT (I think only a handful of the 427s were actually made before going to the longer stroke but slightly less tuned 428s).
And, for schidts and giggles, my bottom ten:
-looks: Mustang II King Cobra (never has so much cheesy guadiness hidden so little real substance)
-price: Boss 429/Cobra R (Boss 429 was farmed out for final assembly, press fitting that massive moter into the engine bay, which cost a lot. Later Cobra Rs were also quasi custom cars with commensurately high prices.)
-performance: Any Mustang II four banger automatic -- think tarted up Pinto, which is basically what they were.
-MPG: Boss 429 (massive motor needs massive amounts of fuel, particularly with crude 1960's technology, but did make massive power)
-prestige: Base Mustang II, it preserved the Mustang lineage, but that's about it.
-room for customization: All Stangs are vastly customizable, but perhaps a 2013 GT500 only because it hasn't been out long.
-rarity: Base FoxStangs, these were sold practically as commodity items and most are still chugging along.
