Which would you pick?? the heritage, or the "newness"
the v8
'93
I've got to go for the '05. All because I have never been a massive fan of the late 80's-early 90's mustangs. Also, by putting this vote in the Foxes forum, the vote might be a bit skewed :jester:
I personally would choose to keep the cobra, why would you give up something, IMO that is faster, more powerful, and best of all has the mustang cobra name, for a new V6
why not get the the 05 gt? not that much more hey if your going to drop 20k on a car you might as well spend anouther 5k and get what you want
I'm certaim yo could get a 93 cobra for less than 20 k...meh
i agree totally with you spend 20k when you could spen a little bit more and get the v8, whats 5k compared to 20??
I didn't even vote in this poll yet because it is a tough decision.
There isn't much of a HP difference and I would be that the '05 V6 could probably outhandle and outbrake a stock 93 Cobra. The only way I would even look at the cobra is if it was in absolute pristine condition, because used cars like that usually have the tar beaten out of them. |

i'd take the cobra. not to hate on V6ers, but in a few years, it'll be "just another V6". and most people i've met don't give the V6's much respect. of course that leaves the choice of making a super V6 like the one the had in Mustang Enthusiast last month. or was it before??? AHH listen to me, i'm rambling again. if all else fails, flip a coin :-D
i definitly agree with future9er24... three years from now it will be the normal 6. It will just be like looking at a 01' 6cyl. Thats just the way that I would think about it. I would stick witht he cobra.
Exaclty. Who gives a hoot about all the v6 foxes, compared to the cobra. Back to the heritage...

One is a collectors car the other will be a Hertz rental car. This is a defining moment.......one is a peppy V6, the other is the baddest Fox based Mustang ever built. This is like asking about an Accord vs a Camaro. One is economical and "nice", the other is rough and fast. This isn't about the cars......it's about who you are. B) |
