Crushed a brand spakin' new S2000 (3000 miles) with an aftermarket tune and a CAI. My car just has the hydrocarbon trap removed and a tune. It has about 5k on the odometer.

It was one of my sister's friends and we talked before the run so this wasn't some chance meeting. We both did our burnouts on an old, deserted (and undisclosed) road. I settled myself into the seat, revved her up to 2200 RPM and when the flag man dropped his hands, we went. The S2000 got its nose in out front off the line, but I pulled him the rest of the way. By the time I shut her down at around 110 he was a good 3 car lengths behind.

Money changed hands and later at Denny's, I was given several compliments from my competitor and a lot of silence from the anti-mustang crowd.

I LOVE this car!!!!

Good to hear ya take out an s2000. A proven performer.

good stuff...but s2000's are slow. try it with a stock SS or ws6 or hopped up evo or sti...then its a much more rewarding kill!

(ps- get 4.10s and ull win the above races)

legal disclaimer: street racing is dangerous and illegal, regardless of how fun

I used to have a S2000. It was fun, but more of a driver than a speeder. At 6'2", the Mustang is alot more confortable, and therefore more fun to drive as well.

Yeah, I sat in the S2000 before we ran to check out his radar detector and MAN was it cramped... and I'm only 6'0". Comfort-wise, reminded me of my old Saturn.

Good Kill, that was your appetizer! My mom had an S2000, fun cars, great handling, good speed! Not surprised the Stang took it in a straight line!

"wtfever" is that in response to the STI times? Cause I'm pretty sure he's right about the S2000 times. Don't know or care about the STI!
