If you have the factory 67 I6, 200CI, then for sure upgrade to a 289. This is what us mustang nuts do, we build them for ourselves, have fun with that 289

Depends on what you what want. If you want an original car than stay with the inline 6. but if you just want to have fun with the car go with the 289.

Look into Ford Racing's 302. Paired with a Edelbrock 600 would make it a good performer.

I know a girl from my school who has a '66 Mustang, and has a 351 in place of it's original I6, she doesnt know whether its a cleveland or Windsor though.
Any V8 will be real fun howver.
