93Z is a LT1 car. Don't buy that one. Possibly a LS1 car 99-02 were good cars but the stang is a better car by far.

Thanks, wife hater. She just happens to be snoozing right next to me at the moment. Apparently it's taken her not so very long to figure out that I keep odd and very late hours. Then again, after assembling her daughter's new bed, an entertainment stand, connecting wifi with Netflix to 2 laptops, 1 iPad, 1 Droid Phone, a Wii, a BluRay player, 2 TV's and a ps3; she is loving on me pretty fiercely. That is when she's not snoring away.

Dang Pete. You don't waste time dude. One week you are commitment hating and the next you are family guy. Glad you're hooked though. Seems like you're enjoying it for now. You'll be back my friend. Oh you'll be back.

Maybe I just decided to do what many of us on here are not; GROW UP? Maybe I'm just glad to have finally found an independent girl who loves recklessness, American Muscle, Banshees, taking care of home, and will e set for life when she finishes up school in about 2 years? Either way I'm just glad to have found one who compliments me so well and supports my microbrewed beer addiction.

What did the GT have in 1997? 225hp or was it still 215 or whatever?

I'm gonna go with the 93 Z28 here, 275hp.

93-98 - The Dark years for Mustang. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Ford didn't give a rats *** about Mustang performance during those 5 years.

The 93 z28. They are pretty mean.. and the 94-98 wasn't... no offence. Maybe if you had a pi swap I'd say the mustang..

Way more potential with the LT1, at least with what is already there. My buddy had a ttop on in high school when it was only a couple years old, nice car for an fbody. Now he drives a Kia I think.

Sounds like to me both drivers equally skilled, 1-3 gear mustangs neck to neck with the z-28 but after that the z will slowly walk away! I owned a 94 trans am, 25th anniv ed car, lt1, 275 hp and ran man ponys back in the day and that was usually the outcome, untill my buddy bought a new 99 gt and then it was a diff story!

The LT1 takes it easily guaranteed unless there's a problem with the car. Their torque curve is real good and they pretty much can hang with the LS1 through the 1/8. High13 second cars stock.

LT1>2V's

The 96-98's with the non-pi heads just doesnt flow nearly as good as the pi heads. Install some pi heads and you will hang with the LT1. I used to have a 95 Z28 and that thing had some sick low end torque.
