Sounds to me like he's talkin a load of crap. In a drag then the GT hands down. In the corners it depends on the driver skill but if both are even I'd give it to the GT cause of the torque coming out of a turn.

 

And isn't the gt lighter?

 

Of all the stuff you listed on the V6...He has a tune. So with that, I'd still say the GT can take him. Now if the GT were an auto and a convertible...maybe he'd have a chance.
