Can you derive any information by your order code and order number? I notice there are letters in the codes and I wonder if it will tell you anything. My order number has an L in it, and my order code has an A in it.

WTF? I just may go out and buy a GT off the lot. There is a local dealer here that will have 10 GTs in the next couple of weeks.
I am buying 2 GTs and a pony vert from this guy. You would think that I would get just a little better customer service.
I don't trust my dealer and the X-plan. It's strange that we can't get an exact date. My dealer says I will get mine possibly Sept. or Oct.
Hmm...

The order number is randomly assigned by the dealer. Each dealer has their own system of numbering/lettering orders. If you are also referring to order code which I think you mean order type, an "A" means it is an A-plan order.

Just got off the phone with my dealer he said I was the only Mustang GT in there allocation and I was coaded with the higest prporty. He said that he didn't have the vin yet and to call him tomarrow. Does this sound right.

Tonight is when Ford does the scheduling for the week so if yours is a buildable order and he has allocation then the system should schedule it.

Thanks for the info. Dose it matter that I'm in CT I heard that the northern part of the country was getting less priority than the south?

In some cases you are correct. That could mean that your dealer onlly gets 5 and a dealer down south or out in CA gets 15.
Also part of the formula is turn and earn. A dealer who gets 5 and truns them right away earns more allocation while a dealer who gets 5 and sits on them earns less allocation. Ford wants to send the cars where they will turn quicker which is why the "warm" states get more allocation. COnversely we are in the snow belt so we earn more 4x4's.

For all you people that ordered their cars within the last month or two, QUIT CRYIN!!!!!!!!!!! You're lucky if you will even get an 06.
I've been waiting since Feb 2 and there are many of us that have been waiting LONGER. When dealers are getting their GTs in and I'm not, it really SUCKS!!!!!
WTF Ford??????????

Ford is building GT's. In the Chigago region it has been about 35% of the mix since Job#1. If you are not getting your car scheduled it is either beacuse your dealer has too many retail GT orders for his allocation, he is a small dealer and has virtually no allocation, or your order has an option or tow that are controlled commodities such as 64W wheel which are not even available yet.
