Additional Ford Credit Rebates ?

Help!

I'm in Zip 44442 and last night Ford Credits website had two (2) additional rebates of $500 each in addition to 0% for 36 months if delivered by 7/31/07 and financed thru Ford Credit. This morning the two (2) $500 rebates are not showing. Getting ready to buy but want the most current info. 2007 Mustang GT Deluxe - Manual.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Nick, there isn't anything listed in VINCENT in regards to rebates that work with 0%. Now, there are special programs, like military rebate or college student rebate, and a release/purchase rebate, but you have to qualify for these, and only one is applicable. What rebates were listed, if I may ask? :nice:

Special Rebates ?

Jeff:

Thanks for checking Vincent. I live right on the border of N. Ohio & W. Pa. so I check what is happening on both sides. IF you go into www.forddirect.com and check 2007 Mustang GT in zip 15090 ( Pittsburgh ) you will see 2 additional $500 rebates, take delivery by 7/31/07. I don't know if its just local dealers?. This is what was in www.fordcredit.com last night under my zip, 44442. Also, if you go to www.ohiofordstores.com , it list 2008 Mustang with 3.9% and 2007 Mustang with $2000 rebate ( not $1500 ) or 0 % for 36 months. I just want to make sure we are all on the same page when I do my deal. I also have x-plan.

Thanks,

Nick

Nick, I just checked VINCENT with the Pittsburg ZIP and it came up with the $1,500 rebate plus a $500 rebate or 0% APR for 36m plus the $500 rebate. This same rebate is NOT showing when I type in ZIP 44442. Its definitely a regional thing, as the extra rebate isn't in my region at all. I guess they either A, don't sell Mustangs too well in that region, or B, have too many 2007's to get rid of, hence the extra $500. Hope this helps. :nice:

Nick, I'm sorry to break this to you, but it really doesn't matter what that website says, as its not the "holy bible" for dealers. Whatever VINCENT says, that is what dealers have to go by. If they were to give you these rebates, and then run a VINCENT after you left, and found out they aren't applicable, then they would be out $1,000. Ford has a BAD habit of not updating their other sites with the proper information. :shame:
