So, the suspense to watch the VIR Conti challenge race this weekend on Speed is killing me. I've seen the results, though. What happened to the Mustangs???? Not even a podium spot? VIR always favored the Mustangs in the past, too.

 

Seafuse was in the lead but got screwed early on in a full-course caution when they did not know they could pit, but the rest of the field went in and got new tires and fuel. Then he had to pit under green, off-cycle later and lost a bunch of positions.

Then a bunch of other cars were too light on fuel to make it to the checker, and had to make pit stops with ~5 laps remaining...just couldn't make it back through the field in that amount of time.
