Nice work Derek, well done on the cooling!
I finally got around to getting an oil analysis done for Castrol Edge 5W-50, with Ford Racing filter. I had 5100 miles on it (changes it before the car went into storage last fall), and 3 track days, or ~6h of track time on it. It did well. I like this oil. I think I'll be able to go 1 oil change per year with it based on these results.

Debating getting new rotors all around for next season. I currently have the Centric cryo treated blanks with ~16k miles on them, and 6 track days. That's not so much I guess, but is this too much cracking? What do you guys think?

Any chance you can do more of a write up on all of these cooler installs? Your homemade brake duct one was pretty good and what I used when I had my 2014 GT.

Yeah if that's actually the rotor itself your brakes could shatter at any minute! If it's just something on the surface, then I dont know. I've never seen that before.

They are surface cracks. It's in the actual rotor material. Very shallow, but the cracks are starting to connect. The rotor still has good thickness, and these are 0.5mm deep. The rotor wall thickness is still at ~7mm, so I'm not too worried about them shattering. Usually rotors crack as the rotor cools down after a session.
For some reason the passenger side looks a bit worse.
I'll keep them till next season but replace them before first track day.

Probably a year off from car stuff as I'm buying a new house and getting married. But the next one will be either a C6 Z06 or a 2008-2010 Viper

Care to share what happened?
Again, hope you were fine, the rest is just broken plastic and metal.
And congrats on the house and getting married! Car stuff can wait.

Hope you're OK. I presume this happened on track since it's mostly a track car. Did insurance cover it?

Hey Derek, hope you're all right even though the car is no more. I had this sinking feeling that's what happened since we haven't seen you post in the last few months.

Thanks! Fun times in life. Very busy lately. I'm hoping winter 2018 I'll be comfortable enough to pick up the new car.
Will be the first season I won't participate in since 2009... weird...

Since I need to replace my rotors and rear calipers, I decided to do the switch to 13.8" rear GT500 rotors. But I'm going the adapter route, not willing to take the axles out.
Got a set of these off ebay for $114

The rear GT500 13.8" rotors are $30 on rock auto, or $65 for high carbon steels.

Yep, bought some rotors there. I mostly use Centric Premium for track rotors except my Boss came with a set of Brembo 2 piece up front.

I've seen them for the 11" rears for sure. Need to do more digging. Be kinda surprised if they don't since the GT500 could obviously use better braking as well.

I was able to find $65 13.8" GT500 rear discs, so I think I'll pass for now.
You are right, and I'm just lazy . I did just replace rear diff fluid few months ago, so I want to be lazy some more.

I understand. When I did mine I was due for a rear diff fluid change, so I was half way there. I also rebuilt the trac loc and replaced the stock diff cover with the Steeda finned aluminum version with drain and fill plugs. This allows me to be lazy on the fluid changes in the future.
