I'm puzzled too. I did not notice any performance decrease, but I've only had 1 day of pushing these pads. If it happened in the last 2 weeks I won't know till my next track day.
I was wondering abut stone impingement, but it happened on both left and right caliper. Low probability I would say.

After being on a battery tender for a while with no issues my batt is its starting to give errors so i'm looking at replacements. What made you pick this battery?

Lightweight, good reviews, and I actually had one in my S4 years back. I wouldn't pick it for a daily driver but as a track car, no issues. I'll store it inside over the winter

Haha well I watched my friend dan make a new, unwanted hole in his engine block at Watkins Glen last year after pulling like 1.5 g's in the esses... He had low oil pressure due to high g's thanks to aero... So accusump for me! They are right here in CT too

Yeah I have the free version of Race Render now, will spring for the paid version very soon because I want to make some longer videos.
But Harry's does seem like a better app from what I have seen . . . However I do like the ability to get the video files onto my PC, so I can watch them at full resolution on a large screen with good speakers; rather than being tied to the phone or a Youtube upload.

How are the Nitto NT01's vs like RE71's?
Also looking forward to seeing details on this.

New battery
I replaced my stock battery this weekend with an Anti Gravity lithium unit mounted in a Morris Engineering machined aluminum tray. The Morris Engineering tray was well made and fit perfectly. The only issue I had was with the brass terminal adaptors to connect the battery to the clamps on my car. The screws supplied were a little long and bottomed out leaving the terminals spinning on the screws. I ran down to the local Ace Hardware and bought a couple shorter screws. This combination weighed 25.8 lbs less than the stock set up.

Nice! Matt makes good products and stands behind them. That is a great setup, super lightweight and good power. Lmk how you like it!
I have to install the diff cooler when I get home before 8/29! And make new canards... can't wait for some fun fall track days!

I know what you mean about trying to get time for installs. I have had the battery tray sitting in the garage for around a year. I bought it on the introductory pricing before they went into production and have been waiting for my battery to need replacing. The factory battery was still testing good, but at 6 years old I know it can't last forever. I bought the new battery during the fathers day sale a couple of months back and just got around to putting it in.
So far so good. The machining and finish on the Morris Engineering battery tray is top notch. It bolted in perfectly lining up with the factory mounting holes and holds the battery securely without any signs of movement. It is a real quality piece.

Nice! I've seen one person at the track use them so far. Their feedback when I asked them how they liked the tires so far was "These tires are the S&^T!"
Hope you enjoy them too!

So I have 1 good thing to report about today's track day at Mid Ohio: I live to race another day.
I have been pretty happy with my Russel braided stainless steel brake hoses, until today. After the first session of the day this happened. Fluid gushing through the wheel, pedal to the floor. Needless to say it ended my day at 8:30 in the morning and I spent the rest of the day waiting for a part, someone to dive me to the store to get the part, and then covered in brake fluid.
Disappointing state of affairs. I got braided steel lines so I wouldn't have to worry about this. Now I need a new game plan for what to do next. I got it good enough to drive home with some no-name brake hoses.
