I was literally about to comment "I wish they'd just do a 5 spoke" and then I looked at the link. A 10-spoke would do. :nice:

I wish they'd do a 19" design too. With 3.73 gearing (or higher) we do not need a shorter tire diameter, which is what 18" wheel lead to. I took the survey and left this comment. Thanks for the link.

True, the 18" tire selection is minimal with those widths. But the 19" race tire selection is just as bare. And a 19" version of their wheels is just going to be that much heavier. It would be worth it to drop down to 3.31s or 3.55s if you're that serious about tracking. :dunno:

I'm starting to see the potential need to do so, as much as I love my 3.73s on the street.

I like the tire selection is 275/35-19 category, and there is at least one good choice in 285/35-19 as well.

I said the same thing haha. I wouldn't mind taking a 19" wheel even with a 3-4lb. weight penalty when you look at those weights. Most of the Mustang guys who are running 18" wheels and that wide are going with something like a Hoosier or the Rival S.

I'd really like an 18x10.5 wheel with the right offset to work on all 4 corners, and clear big brakes, for $350 or less, and I really don't care what it looks like, as long as it's black.

I always thought one of the advantages of 18" wheels was MORE tire choices, but that seems to have changed recently. 285/40-18 would be the perfect size but it seems nobody makes them any more????

Check out TSW wheels. Super lightweight, rotary forged and inexpensive.
