This race is weird. Everyone was running pretty close, now there are only 10 of the 35 cars on the lead lap. There is a 1:36 gap between 10th and 11th, another 1:40 gap between 12th and 13th, and a 1:35 gap between 18th and 19th. The 11th place car is close to going 2 laps down from the leader.

Our #59 ran as high as 8th before getting knocked out on lap 85.

I was at the GS & GT races yesterday in Lime Rock. Great time. I cant believe they let you get in the pits and talk to crew and drivers. We talked to Ian James for a good 15-20 minutes about his FR500. He said they added more weight and higher gearing to all Stangs to keep them back to the pack.

Just as an FYI, the 59 was retired at Lime Rock due to some broken rear wheel studs. The root cause of the wheel stud failures was incorrect wheel center machining that didn't allow the lugnuts to torque properly when installed with our special pit sockets.
