I like the new parts....the cowl hood is just sexy

it doesn't need help keeping up; it demolished the BMW in the Daytona twisties.

Daytona has more sweeping turns than some of the other tighter courses . . .

EDIT: Which in theory, the higher speed a corner the more need for downforce, so the '05's should have benefited more from having spoilers at Daytona . . . .

I sure hope the racing doesn't find out you don't like it. I'm sure they'll be just devestated!

M3s finished 1-2 yesterday; '05 Mustangs finished 3-4. That #5 finished 18th.

ouch, the 55 got a little ding on it.

I'm pretty sure this is an ignorant question, but why arent these races televised? I think they would be a hit.

Because SPEED would rather show a rerun of NASCAR commentary than a live, actual race.

Sports Car racing in the USA has taken a hit over the years. With two major series and two supporting series (ALMS/SPEED GT [for the most part] & Rolex Grand-Am/Grand-Am Cup) TV dollars are not what they used to be. Also remember that the water downed Trans-Am series is still around as sort of a support series for Champ Car Series.

SPEED GT (and SPEED Touring) has one plus in that the SPEED TV channel is the title sponsor so those races have a greater chance of broadcast . . .â€liveâ€. All in all NASCAR has wrecked havoc on both open wheel and sports car racing in North America.

i like the new look

also im with Lalo, these races would bring WAAAAAAY more viewers to speed channel than Nascar reruns would. dont get me wrong, Nascar is cool but it has a time and a place, plus this is a lot more interesting, its got twisties and stuff n i love watching that
