Hey Boomer, I didn't know you got an 05. Congrats. I guess that's why you haven't been slumming in the lower level threads.
I think you missed a spot.

haha, slumming
Yeah man..there she be.
All cleaned up.
I'll try to grab some pics at night when the sun is down (where the colour darkens and becomes deeper)
Hey Ron,
Once you compare the 2, I found Zaino to be better in most categories.
Meguires looks good, but the ease of use, time, finished product makes me stick with Zaino. I don't really notice a big difference between Z2, and Z2Pro though (the new formula)

I don't know about Boomer but the only thing I found hard about using the Zaino was trying not to use to much of it. I mixed up an ounce of it and that was enough to do my car twice!

I was able to finally try my Zaino out today. Claybar, one coat Z5, and two of Z2 (try to get another Z2 on tomorrow). This stuff is great, easy to use and incredible finish. In my 30+ years and hundred's of different wax/polishing products I think this has given to best results. I will post pic's when I'm able too. It may be expensive (but a little does go real far), I can't deny I'm quite impressed and totally happy with the results.

Yeah, with Zaino its basically a glaze. If you see the streak your using too much. Little goes a long way!
I did use the ultimate kit. The tire gloss is great, but not SUPER glossy (which I like it not being so bling bling) the Leather cleaner/protectant works awsome.
Yes I did claybar the car (even though it was new...you wouldn't believe the ammount of crap it pulled out)
I washed with dish detergent (to take any old wax off..not knowing what the dealership used if at all) and then claybared.
I can't recommend enough to claybar enough though its a new car.
Most results come from awsome prepwork.
Then I used the 2 coats of Z5(scratch/swirl remover polish) and 1 coat of Z2pro. This week I just washed, prepped with Z6 and then used 3 coats of Z2Pro. looks stunning.
No I haven't used Z8 (Grande Finale) I can just IMAGINE from your pics how it would look up close....need to make another order of Z6, may some more Z2Pro and some Z8
I've found that while time consuming (like any polish wax)
Zaino seems to be the simplest/best result and longest lasting.
I never believed it till I tried it.
This is NOT knocking anyone who uses any other product (ie: Liquid Glass, Klasse, Zymol, meguires, mothers) they all produce good results.

Car looks fantastic. Windveil blue w/bullits was my (very close) second choice. I use the Zaino products too, partially because they do a great job and are easy to apply (little lazy I guess). I kept getting a film on my car and only figured out what it was tonight. There's a greasy spoon down the street and it turned out to be grease in the air. I can't complain though, cause they make the best burgers in the city.

Yeah Yeah, not knocking my Meguiars products, sure.
Did you use the ZFX with the Z5 and Z2Pro as directed to speed things up or just the Z2Pro?
How long does it take for the Z5 to dry?

No I've seen the stuff on Dans Refire GT, and I was REALLY impressed, it looks great (mind you he is switching to zaino too ) Must be peer pressure.
yeah I used ZFX on all the 'mixed vials'
for both Z5 and Z2Pro.
Z5 didn't take any longer to dry then Z2.
With the nice weather we had this weekend (60 give or take) I think it was dry within 20 minutes
