Sean,
I agree with you with a full heart. I don't care how others feel. It is your car and My car and all the others of us who feel your pain. Rain, what can rain do to a car. Just think about all the cars you see in junk yards. Rust bucket, is what is left if them. I have a 65 Mustang Vert, gaurage kept. No rust or very little rust. If it were in the weather where would it be. Thats right the JUNK YARD! So, keep our cars out of the rain and weather, maybe they will live to see their 45th Birthday.

Our Gt is now 3-1/2 months old and it has never been in the rain. We bought it as a"keeper"/travel car and eventually it will get wet but so far I am just enjoying the newness. Even our collector cars get wet sometimes by accident but I don't take them out if I expect it to rain. Even though these 05's are meant to use and enjoy some want to have them in next to new condition 10+ years from now and then I guess we become a bit fanatical. Nobodys right or wrong - its a personal thing.

Personally, I don't care whether you drive your car in the rain or not.
But based on the title of your thread, you're gonna end up getting some
I realize your topic was meant to be a little sarcastic (so was my earlier reply about a 12 step program).
I think we need a sarcasm smiley.
I don't mind the rain too much... it's fun watching the rain glide right off (thanks zaino!).
I'm much more scared of bird poo... it would be nice if someone would make a clearcoat that's poo resistent already - can't be that difficult.

Heck rain, I haven't seen much where I live and this is suppossed to be our rainy season. But I've actually kept my 05 in the garage mostly for the last three weeks because she is only about a month old and its been about 110 degrees everyday. I'm retired so I can do that fortunately. I don't want my 05 to get sunburned you know. I hate to see the hot sun blasting the new leather upolstery. I'm planning to get the rear window tinted, a common thing here. So until then I just take my other vehicle to run errands. I know, SILLY ME.
