Stubborn swirls
A buddy of mine has a torch red 2005 Mustang GT, & I've taken several shots at removing his swirls without much luck. I've tried all my Poorboy's swirl removers (SSR1, 2, 2.5, & 3) with both white & orange pads on my PC. The car has been repainted, & I've even wondered if the swirls might be in the paint itself, underneath the clear. Anyway, been doing a lot of reading on the Autogeek forums, & I decided to order a bottle of Menzerna FG400 yesterday. Everybody raves about its cutting ability, & I've had excellent results from the Menzerna products I've been trying this season, so I figured it's worth a shot. Hope to work on it this coming weekend. Pics to follow....

I don't have any that I'm aware of, Marc. I worked on it in 2012 right after he bought it, & again last year. Just never seemed to get anywhere with the swirls, although he never left it with me for a length of time. Just Saturday afternoon detailing. SSR3 & an orange pad with my PC wouldn't touch them. I'm gonna try the FG400 that I just bought, & a buddy is coming over with his Rupes. I'll definitely get some before/after pics with my Nikon.
