Sap/Leaf stain removal

Well I just washed the car today and noticed that there is a sap/leaf stain spot on my hood from a small leaf sitting on it. I tried a find scratch remover and couldnt get it out. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to what could be used to remove the stain? Any suggestions on products to try or techniques to try is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Like Glenn said try a clay bar. Most likely the stain is in the paint, and the clay will hopefully lift it out.

Yep, clay it, & if necessary, polish it.
