What do you guys use to get rid of scratches or heavy scuffs that you are afraid wont come out? Someone "brushed" into my car in the last few days and I just noticed it on lunch. It feels somewhat smooth which worries me that it wont come out easily.

If its just paint try rubbin it with some mineral spirits. I would wait and use rubbing compund as a last resort since It might equire you to do the entire car if you arent careful.

Meguiar's Swirl Mark Remover, available at their site or Pep Boys if you have one. It's a mild polish safe for clearcot (I used it on my black 96GT 3 times a year) and will do wonders if properly applied. Good luck.
