I have used many brands of products over the years and mainly used Meguiars up until about 4 years ago when i discovered Poorboys. It is a great product and unlike Meg's it goes on easy and comes off easy yet gives the same or better results. on top of that Steve is a great guy to deal with and is always willing to help answer any questions you may have.
Also there is a differacne between Polish and Wax. One helps with giving shine and removing flaws such as scracthes and swirls(Polish). The other is for protectionand can also enhance the shine(Wax).

I go back and forth between Meguiar's NXT and Gold Class Paste.
If you are going to try NXT, use a very small amount. A lot of people using it the first time use way too much and it's hard to remove.
Visit http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/ for much more info.
Congrats on the Tungsten - my personal favorite.

I'm using Meguiars NXT wax and Quick Detailer at the moment. But frankly, it seems no better to me than the NuFinish I used to use on my previous car, or the Rain Dance I used to use prior to that.
In my years of experience, all these products are pretty much six of one, half a dozen of the other, and it has more to do with proper application than anything.
Though there IS a difference between wax and polish, as the poster above alluded.

By the way here is a great detailers forum to learn a lot. Many friendly folks who are always willing to help and give advise. I have also linked a great informational site that sells detail products.

First wax is the most important. Don't use spray on waxes, they're no good. Get good wax and apply resin/gloss protectant. I use only Autoglym products www.autoglym.co.uk You can't get Autoglym from US (I get them from Europe). Meguiar's are a joke.
Go to www.poorboysworld.com and order:
- Poorboys Polish w/ Carnauba (Blue for Darker cars, like yours) AND
- EX Sealant for post-Wax
Rub in Polish (one direction, don't use circular motion). Let dry for at least 4 hours... I prefer over night.
Polish with Microfiber (circular motion now...)
Apply EX Sealant post polishing and let dry for at least 2 hours and polish with microfiber.
WOW.

Thanks all! This is my fourth Mustang, and, being older, i can't spend 3 or 4 hours scrubbing pure carnauba on and off the car like I used to. I really just want to use something that is pretty easy to apply and easy to remove. If it means doing it more often, but still making it relatively easy, I'd go for that. The tungsten is a really beautiful color. How hard is it to post pics? Jpeg must be the file format of choice, and low res?

Is Zaino available in stores or just mail order (internet)? I've been told there is a product called Liquid Lustre or Liquid Brilliance, which is a pink liquid, which might be a Meguiar's product. Anyone heard anything about that?
