I'd probably stay away from dishwashing soap.

You never know what they do to a new car at the dealeship.I waxed mine the day I got it with P21S polish and thought it looked pretty good. But when a friend of mine sent me a new car warming gift of Zaino . I stripped that stuff off and man what a big difference.Zaino really brought that Candy color alive.it's hard to look at it in the bright Orlando sunshine.Use the Z-6 gloss enhancer to keep it looking great.
I've seen different pics of the Candy Apples and some look really good, but looking at the ones on the dealer lots look bland. If this is the right stuff to make it come alive, then i'm sold!

Now if it will only warm up and melt the 8 inches of snow we just got before the car comes in, i'll be even happier!

Got any pics of it to put up?

Took this pic. the other day sun was shining on the drivers side dos not show the depth of the shine .Photos better with a little overcast or light shade.I live in Orlando seems it's either sunny or raining. Going to try to get some better pic this week.

Definately looks good. Do you wax over the stripe too or go around it?

With the Zaino, wax over the stripes does not change the sheen also does not leave any white residue like many waxes. Also Zaino says it will keep the decals flexible .

Well, my Zaino came in last week. Since the 'Stang isn't here yet, I decided to try it on my Trailblazer. Since it's 35 degrees out very windy, I decided to just try doing the hood. I did a quick rub with the clay, then a layer of Z5 then Z2.

WOW!

For just a quickie trial I can't believe how much it brought out the metallic in the paint. Rubbing my hand across is effortless and it feels so smooth. Comparing it to the unwaxed fender really shows the difference.

My question for the experienced... How many coats will a bottle of say Z2 do? While I was putting it on, I kept wondering if I was doing too little or too much. At least knowing how long a bottle should last will give me a good idea if i'm doing it right or not!

I can't remember, but I think I got my Z-2 to last about 10-12 applications. Used little less than one of those 2 oz. bottles to do two coats. Here's my Zaino "ultimate application" gratutious photo. Nice overcast day!

Are you using the Dawn everytime you do it? I thought the Dawn was to strip the old wax off. Why would you want to start over every time? The beauty of Zaino is that you build on it everytime.

For the reccord, dawn does strip the zaino completely off so unless you want to start from scratch every time I would stop using it. I stip the zaino off once a year(in spinr) and layer up through out the summer and fall, use the clear seal right before it gets too cold and pray for a dry winter
