My baby is hurt
This is from the front passgenger side fender:
I'm not sure how it happened. May be somebody vanadalized my car.
The scratch is deep enough to indent the metal - it's more like a gouge.
Pass me some tissues.
Now what ?

I feel your pain (see my earlier post.) hope your repair goes well. I'll let you know about mine on wednesday. Seems like we are driving around (or parking) with big targets on our bumpers.
Thats a wierd place to vandalize. Would have to bend down and it is rather short for a key job. Maybe a tree branch or bush while parking?

Get some touch up paint and 1000 and 2000 grit wet sand paper. Fill in the scratch with the touch up paint. Use thin layers. Let each layer dry. Once the final layer is a little higher than the actual paint of the car use the 1000 grit sand paper to even it out. Then use 2000 grit to smooth out the scratches. Now polish and wax. Once you are done if you notice it at all it will look like a very faint line that you need to stare at to see. A lot cheaper than getting it done at a body shop.
