Waxed my car about a week ago with Meguires NXT Carnuba Wax.

I might eventually order Zaino and compare the results though this stuff rocks.

Looks great Dan :nice:. I use Meguires on mine also.

meguires is great however im still a zaino guy. on darker colored cars meguieres doesnt do half the job zaino does. on lighter colored meguires works great

Boomer 4/19/05 08:51 PM

Dan's only using what he has left...doesn't want to throw it out :D before the zaino comes in
hahahah

Good job dano.

  Yah, I had it lying around.....

I wanted to wax her up and don't have Zaino. I figured there was enough discussion of Meguires vs. Zaino that I'd try Meguires first. I'm very impressed with the results I must say.

Like I said, I'll be trying Zaino next and hopefully I can compare the two first hand. Either way, I don't think you'll be disappointed using either. :nice:

Thanks for the compliments everyone :nice:

P.S. Not only can you see my laces, but the houses across the ravine 100' away. I didn't realize this until I download the pic off my camera. Very cool.

P.P.S. I just realized that in the rear shot you can see the tree, clouds, sky...wow.

I had a sample packet of Meguairs NXT. It was enough for an experiment. I waxed half the car with NXT and the other half with Gold. So far I have not noticed a difference. I usually keep my car under a car port and don't drive it in rainy conditions often. So I may have not put it thru a real test.

PonyGirl 4/26/05 10:59 AM

I used the NXT spray...is that what you have? Looks Great!!!

RaGsHoCkEy88 4/26/05 11:03 AM

Zaino's is better, LOL, car looks great though ! :nice:

mustangfun101 4/26/05 01:02 PM

Being a big fan of Meguiars......Looks great! Boo to Zaino!!!!!

That is the most beautiful color on a car ever. No, I'm not biased.

hamidlmt 4/27/05 12:56 AM

I'm diggin' NXT on my redfire too. Lovely, deep shine. Durability has been good through Oregon's rainy season, but I keep 'er garaged. Speed Detailer works well for a bit of touch up shine. I'll probably give zaino a shot this summer.

jwenger 4/27/05 11:05 AM

Dano, I use NXT too, the stuff is great. Most Bang for the Buck vs Zaino but----- It contains no Carnuba wax, it is a synthetic polymer. Let it set up for at least 15 minutes before you wipe it off to allow it to "cure". :nice:

outdoorstom 4/27/05 12:05 PM

Dan - small favor to ask. Please buy another 05, use Meguire's on one and Zaino on the other. It's really the only way to do a fair comparison. Thanks in advance.
