Liquid Clay Bar, ICE.

I did a search on this product and it seems all the post and comments are at least a couple years old.

I waxed my Mustang a couple weeks ago and noticed it wasn't as smooth as i thought it should be. I've never used a 'clay bar' in my life and i'm 57 years old LOL!!! I use the ICE liquid polish because its the easiest wax i have ever used. So for a little over $6 i picked up a bottle of Liquid Clay Bar made by ICE (Turtle Wax). I followed the directions and after using the Liquid Clay Bar, i re waxed my Mustang with Liquid Ice. My paint is now smooth as glass and this product seems to work.

I know this won't work as good as a clay bar, and the liquid ICE doesn't give as nice of a shine as a paste wax. These two products are so easy to use.

I've used several different paste waxes over the last few years. Meguiar's paste wax gives the best shine but are so hard to use. I even had to use my shop vac to get the white powder residue from my door jams, hood and trunk.

Don't have to worry about anything like that with the ICE Liquid Polish.

While reading the old post and Threads on the Liquid Clay Bar some people liked it and some people didn't like it. Maybe its been changed some over the last few years.

I can't take any pictures of my Mustang. I've got the cover on it and we have some bad thunder storms comming soon.

I'm just letting you all know how i feel about this product.

I like the liquid clay because you don't have to worry about dropping it and then throwing it away;.but I only use the wax on plastic parts, I like the shine and durability of a conventional wax more than ICE.

I am a meguires fan. Like their clay bar and their wax. Gold class apply the wax to the whole car and then remove. nice and easy!

The thing about polishes is you don't use them as a subsitute for a wax. That is why your paint didn't have the shine that a wax would give. You polish first then apply the wax to seal and give it that shine.

Glad it worked for you.

I tried the Liquid Clay Bar shortly after it came out. Not impressed, I returned to Mothers, which does a much better job -- especially on heavy contamination. A better value, too.

While it's not horrible, Turtle Wax has since discontinued that product.

Liquid Ice is not discontinued. I just went to the Turtle Wax website. Using some tonight on the CC, then the Mustang.
