How **** are you???
So everyone, I'm just curious how picky everyone else here is about their car. I don't have a Mustang anymore thanks to my wife (Long story short: She got hold of my money behind my back and spent it all AGAIN so any donations are welcome)
Anyway, I wash my car once a week year round. Very rarely do I skip a week. I wax about once a month. This is all done on my daily driver.
<--------
So what do you other fanatics do?

I try to wash it every few weeks, but for a 10 year old jeep that sits outside, and is a daily driver, that's about what it needs. Especially since 98% of the time people ride with me...their first comment is...wow this is clean! When the Mustang comes around...I wont be using it as a daily driver, but it'll be washed on a biweekly basis at minimum

I purposely bought a silver car for my DD so it would require less to keep it looking clean. Guess I am getting a bit lazier as I age as that would have never happened when I was younger. It maybe gets washed monthly (more frequently in the winter to keep the salt under control) and waxed twice a year.
My Mustang is another story... with the low mileage, it has not been cleaned with water since the spring, but it does get a wipe down with detailer spray weekly (during the driving season) and waxed/polished 2 to 3 times a year. That may become more frequent now that I have a Flex orbital polisher

For me it varies a lot, sometimes it may be a couple of times a month, sometimes once or twice a quarter for my Mustangs. They don't see a lot of miles a year, typically 2000-4000 or so miles each, and they stay in the garage when not being driven. They never seen any snow or ice or salty roads, and seldom see rain if I can help it, so they tend to stay clean after I've washed them. I'll often clean the bugs off the nose of the car or use QD spray or the California duster and wash the windows and wheels more often then washing the car itself.

My Stang gets averages 3500 miles a year, so it stays in the garage a lot. So I wash it no more than a couple times a month.I do drive it on road trips a couple times a year. One thing that I have always done is wash the bugs off the front after every trip..before I put her in the garage.

My car never sees water.
EVER
I got rid of the wife and kept the car.
I use Zaino detailing spray regularly to get the bugs and dust off.
It stays in the heated garage and I use Zaino polish during the winter.
I only washed it before the first Zaino treatment. (that would mean once)
DO I WIN !!!!

Mustang gets Wed and Sat wash schedule. I waxed the painted surface on the underside of the car the past two seasons before storing it for Winter? How crazy is that?

I wash as needed, but the California Duster gets a workout, and I go over it with detail spray a couple times a week. The back end is a dust magnet.

My ponies stay in a locked garage, alarms set and car covers on. I kind of rotate taking them out for drives on the weekends. Much to my wife's dismay.........no food, no drinks (and that includes water!) I guess I officially became "****" when my wife caught me waxing inside the gas cap door. lol

I atleast give her a once over everytime I drive her.. maybe not a full detail, but what ever she needs to look good for the ride. Now if the weather isn't cooperating, then she can sit for more then a week without even being seen.. so I chose once a week.

Same here. I use the California Duster on it before I drive it, use the Wizards Detailer spray when it needs it and wash it maybe once every couple of weeks. Of course, I don't get it out on bad days. I also won't take it to college football games, as there are too many drunk lunkheads who will either open their door into her or toss an errant football onto the aluminum hood!

Depending on the weather, ONR once a week minimum with dusting twice a day. If the weather has been pretty bad I'll give it the full on wash. Really don't feel comfortable using ONR, as amazing as it is, on a badly soiled car.
