I do a lot of maintenance on my car in the way of cleaning, waxing (or whatever they call it now day) I'm over 85 so putting into practice what some suggest as to detailing car, clay bar, etc. Way too much labor for someone in my age.group. On several sites there have been members who share their expertise on detailing their cars, some in that line of work. I'm not in the business of selling or promoting products so don't post what I use. You be the judge. The product I used had ceramic & acrylic and black dye in their product. You wipe it on and wipe it off. The guys that use a much more labor intense method, may be better, I don't know.

My top photo is me (light colored shirt) standing at the front bumper shooting down at the hood. You can see my reflection and the roof, etc of my garage in the reflection. I really don't know how it could be any shinier. or easier to apply. Will it last as long as the more intense method, I don't know. as my car is garaged and only driving five months out of the year due to snow, ice and road salt.

Wipe on, wipe off.

Detailing my car is a great stress reliever. My wife is in her fifth year of dementia, and I am her sole caregiver. Needless to say, I need to blow off steam from time to time so the car gets another coat. The photo was the first time I had applied this product. I have never used a buffer, it's all hand applied and wiped off. The "dye" does a decent job of covering tiny chips in the paint. I found this on Amazon but sure it must be in most auto supply stores. Note that this product must be used on black or dark colored cars. I think I saw this same product on Amazon, minus the black dye.

The emblem tells you the name of the product.
