Bummer! I know it's off topic but every time I see your username Jigs, all I can think of is the Saturday morning Powerblock on Spike TV. JEEEGGGSSS.

Bring it back to the dealer or a body shop and see if they can do paintless dent removal. If it's paintless it will not cost much.

Places around KC do paintless dent removal for about $75 per panel. If there is no terrible crease and no paint damage, I would go that route.

Do a search on your computer for a company called 'Dent Wizard' in your city. They are fantastic, especially on dents that didn't break the paint....

Yeah it won't be bad. The PDR guys can get it out good and cheap.

Unlike me and some buttmunching, asswipe, sun of a turd that keyed my rear quarter pannel down to the bare stinking metal. I wanted to kill.

Yep, on my '05 GT - black. Big "V" on the rear quarter - a couple of feet or so long. Had to remove it and repaint.

Like Matt it happened at a mall parking lot. I used to go there several times a week for lunch. I never do anymore.

I feel your pain.
My brother In-Law bought this Pops-A-Dent product.
He hasn't used it yet so I don't know how well it works.

Here is a link:

Good luck!

I've heard the pops a dent thing doesn't work very well. I'd leave it up to a professional for removal of dent(s). I'm on a first name basis with the owner of one in Memphis. I've been using his services for over 13 years.

Don't take it to the dealer. Someone pushed down on the front quarter panel of my 97 gt and left a dent that you could fit a football in. Dealer wanted $1700.00 to replace the panel and paint it. I had the dent removed by another guy for $75.00 cash, no cracks in the paint. It was a miracle.

I have a question. I have heard that if you let your car set in the sun for awhile and get hot, then apply dry ice to a dent, the dent will pop out. Something about the expansion of molecules under extreme temperature difference. I have no idea if this is true, and I am more than a little skeptical. Anyone ever done / heard of this?

I have heard of that before but also was told that the metal has to be very hot and the dry ice applied to the entire area at the same time or you would warp the metal which is harder to fix than the orginal dent. I have never seen this process done, this is just what I heard from the guy that remove the dent from my car.
