Thumbs up

What are you guys using to clean the alumnium from the IUP on your 2005s? I was using some of the Meguiars rubber and vinyl cleaner to clean the dash and got a little on there and it doesn't look good. I need to clean that all off real well. Any suggestions?

Frank, try this:

1/4 cup cream of tartar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 baking soda
2 tablespoons soap flakes

mix cream of tartar and baking soda together. Add vinegar and stir to make a paste. Stir in soap flakes. Store mixture in a container with a tight lid. Rub small amount of cleaner onto aluminum, and scour with a piece of xtra fine steel wool.

Either that, or check out 3m part # 39529 Mag & Aluminum Polish [8oz.] safely removes oxidation, water spots, stains, etc.
