We drove down to check it out and we both decided that we couldn't pass it up so I got it! I have 2 pics on my profile!

I bought my first Mustang in March of this year, so I was 27. I've wanted one since I was a kid. My dad would always take me to car dealerships when they were closed and we would look at them all the time.

First Mustang at age 23 ('03 3.8), still have it 8 years later, will be 31 when my first GT arrives next month. Now my first Ford 302 V8 coupe was at 18, but it was a 1985 Mercury Cougar, I liked Mustangs before that car, but that car made crave one!

When I was 17 I bought a 76 Mustang Ghia coupe rocking the 302 & C6. I've never gone more than 10 years without a Mustang.
I've followed that up with:
79 Ghia 4cy 4-speed
83 GLX vert
88 GT
2013 GT500
As I look back, it's a steady progression of improvement.

I turned 16 in 1981. First car I owned was a '75 Mach 1 - V6 / 4-speed car. Had it 6 years and modded the heck out of it, dropping 4 seconds off its 1/4 mile time in the process. I then went to the dark side for a couple years; kept the Mach 1, but added a couple of big block V8 GM's to the stable: a '68 Pontiac GTO and a '72 Nova with a '66 'Vette 427-V8 under the hood.
By the late '80's, I sold the Mach 1 and bought a brand new '89 Mustang LX Sport 5.0L Hatchback when I was 23. Have had a variety of new V8 Mustangs since then.

16 had 64.5 mustang
59 got a 13 GT premium M6, had it at the track and it is more fun than any other Stang I ever owned. Even a R-code 70 Mach1. I never got the 70 in the 12s on street tires.
Many mustangs of all types over the years, still have a 92 SSP

All i ever really knew of for em was the offenhauser intake and 4bbl switch. I saw some headers on eBay.. once, along with a more agressive cam, but that was it. Short of importing cosworth stuff, I didnt think there was that much out there for em
