Would like your opinions....
As often as possible, especially in warmer months I keep the top down on my '14 GT 'vert and prefer the look of the convertible boot.
I plan on getting a vinyl replacement boot...I've seen one on a Shelby and it has the appearance of faux-leather.
I have a choice of colors, and obviously mine will be black. But I have the option of black or white stitching. I have the 401A black/cashmere stripes (they're really an off-white) so the white stitching will match.
However, I still might have charcoal stripes installed at some point down the road and I don't want the car to look too busy.
So.....plain black or white stitching? Fwiw, I am leaning a little towards white trim, but I'm not near 100% sure.
(first pic is from the website...they don't show a boot with stitching. The other pic is of my interior)

As you have the white stripe on the seats, I'd be inclined to get the one with the white stitching. If I were getting one for mine (V6 - all charcoal grey) I'd get it without.

Here is a place that has the same boot (black only but with thread colors) for less.

Looks like a consensus so far. White stitching it is (I already kinda knew that, but I needed you guys to hold my hand).
Just waiting for clarification from the vendor.
Thanks

Sorry Darren. White stripes were never on my radar. I'm thinking of dark grey metallic or maybe matte black. I'd like to get charcoal wheels at some point, so grey stripes might be the ticket.

If you have a local shop that does good work, powder coat shouldn't cost much. You could get another set of "inexpensive" wheels and have them powder coated whatever color you want, then have the vinyl match exactly (or get the vinyl first and do the process vice versa). Either way, I think it's those little custom touches that really set your car apart from everyone else that buys off the shelf wheels...not everyone can drop $4-10k on completely custom forged (in the USA) wheels!

After my driveway trauma, I need to pull in the reins. I'll get the boot this year, but won't have to make a decision on stripes until I get around to buying a pre-painted GT500 style spoiler...maybe this year, maybe not, but stripes will probably happen until next year regardless.
