Drove it to work.
First real drive of 2020.
Temps in the high-60's, just had to do it, even with 5-month-old gas in the tank.

Nice!

Got mine out for the first time last Thursday. Put about 50 miles on her. We were rocking high 60°s that day. Temps must be moving that way. Still nice highs here through Friday, but the lows are still frosty. Takes until 2pm or so to get above 45°. Loving this spring like weather. :nice:

I don't know. Is 97 considered fast?

Today, not on my car but the wife's Shelby, changed the oil and filter, and drained the oil catch can.
Fresh Amsoil 5W50, fresh Ford/Motorcraft FL820S filter.

That Amsoil really make a huge difference. Great stuff for any Ford engine!

I certainly think so.

Yesterday it was my car's turn for some love.
Removed the cat-delete pipes, re-installed the cats, changed the oil and filter, drained the catch can, gave the BMR Watts Link and BMR rear LCAs some squirts of lube (giggidy), uploaded the emissions tune, and found that the oil pressure sensor for the oil pressure gauge is seeping oil. Took it out, removed whatever was left of the Teflon tape that it was originally put together with (about 5 years ago), and put some black RTV on there, then put it back together. The black part of the sensor that the electrical pigtail clips onto is turning inside the sensor - I don't think it's supposed to, so I might need to replace that sensor soon.

Amsoil 5w50 full synthetic and a Ford/Motorcraft FL820S filter:

The oil leak as I found it:

The AEM sensor with barely any Teflon tape left on it:

Well, I contacted AEM and they said the sensor connector isn't supposed to be turning inside the housing, so I ordered another sensor.
$65 but hope it lasts another 5+ years like the first one did.

What's been new...well she's been testing me a little bit.

First, I got the windshield replaced with another Motorcraft one. And another one. And another one. And Another one. 5th one was the charm! or 5th one was good enough. They only installed the 1st replacement windshield, after that we visually checked each one before settling on #5 being good enough. It still has some distortions but they don't bug me and no glass is perfect. I'm sure the original had issues I never noticed.

But look how clear that is!

Also trying to figure out an emissions/sensor issue on my car. It didn't fail it just didn't pass. Too many sensors reported not available/unsupported. This tune has passed inspection since 2016 and the shop confirmed the O2 sensors are turned on in the tune so the troubleshooting begins.

Sucks that you had to end up ordering another sensor Gabe. Hopefully the replacement will last just as long as the original, if not longer :dunno:

It's really unfortunate you had to end up ordering 5 different windshields before finally getting one with the least amount of distortion issues. After reading over your post, I'll make certain when the time comes to replace the windshield, that it's manufactured in the U.S and not from Mexico or China. In the meantime, thanks for your very informative write-up :nice:
