Time for a bath

I was having my car washed today and no less then 3 people stopped and asked me about the car. So I took a few photos.

I passed the 500 mile mark after installing a new clutch on her, so the obvious choice was to do a take off and power shift.

/She dun real good too!

Installed Radium Engineering baffle plate, and Steeda Ultralight g-trac brace. Lots of grease under my fingernails today.

Installed a dash cam, and figured out how to route the power cable so it's mostly hidden.

I thought you might get a blue power cable and visibly run it all around the cabin.

Installed a GT350 steering wheel today. Feels much better in the heat then the leather one did.

Shelby Splash Screen

I finally got the retrofitted OEM Nav to show the Shelby Startup screen. Sweet.

Put a coat of wax on my black GT. Looks fantastic! Supposed to rain now. Stays in the garage.

I had the windshield replaced in my '13 GT Wednesday due to a nice chip/crack from a rock on the interstate. I'm glad the glass shop used a genuine Ford windshield.

Let me write that down...

Yesterday was my first check engine light, 20 months after buying it. Cobb AP was hooked up, so I just had to push a couple of buttons to get the code for "air leak between throttle body and intake valve." Popped the hood and the hose clamp on the throttle body was loose. I had taken that off Monday to replace the PCV baffle plate, so it was totally my fault. Easy fix though.

Wow, did you know that they were cracked?
Probably by the sounds, right?

SYNC

I updated SYNC, in my 13 GT. It still had the version it came with from the dealer, last updated 2012! I haven't had a chance to play with it, hopefully there have been some improvements, in the past six years...

Was that difficult and what did you have to do?

I heard some "clunks" then confirmed when I changed the oil a few weeks ago.

Went to a cruise night last night.

Overheard from an '18 GT owner:
'My car has 11" and 12" (wide) wheels'
His car had the stock PP wheels.
'The line lock doesn't work until the car has 4,000 miles on it'
I stopped listening.
