I had such good luck with help on the floor mats I thought I'd seek suggests on my sun visor. My 2012 GT convertible drivers' side has two issues. 1) the clip that the visor rest in is apparently tight thus has slowly worn through the material on the right side of the visor from trying to get the visor out. 2) the three button garage door opener keeps falling out.
A simple solution is buying a new or used one. I've been looking and they are running from $125.00 to $170.00. Second thought, (if it works) put a back Mustang Covin mask with emblem over the worn spot.
2) The garage door opener... keeps falling out of the visor and I'm certain one of these times it's going flying when the top is down. I did put some electrical tape in trying to tighten the devise. That was a failure.
It's such a struggle to get this out, it has worn due to the pulling on the shade. This door opener devise keeps falling out of the visor.
PM is Private Message. Some Folks Don't Like To Post VIN's So I Just Give You the Option. Just Sent You One. Look in Upper Right Corner By Your Name For Red Dot!
Here Is The Odd Thing The 2010-2011 Still Show a Lot Of The Choices Available. I Seem To Recall Some Wiring Differences in the Early Cars and Of Course all The Visor Color Choices Shown. Just an FYI!
We'll be gone all day today. I'll call FordPartsGiant, and make sure the visor will fit a convertible. Thanks for the help.
States Convertible in Sub Text. The Later Production Date I Believe is Just Due to The Fact The Car Was Not Exported To Spanish Language Countries Until Then. But Always Good To Double Check. You Can Also Purchase at Any FORD Dealer Though Pricing Will Vary!Ford DR3Z7604105BA

When I put in only the car description it says the Spanish one will fit. Almost ordered it but got interrupted with wife's health issues. Went back on today and decided to use the VIN. Using the VIN, program states not the correct visor for my car.
I'll give them a call when I'm not working with my wife but looks like I'm going to have to find a way to repair it.
I'll also check with my mechanic and the local Ford Dealer.
Your Vin Will Only Show What Originally Came With Vehicle. I Believe it's Same Visor Just The Spanish Vs English. I Did Ford Dealer Parts From 1985-2017 You Learn a Few Tricks! Hopefully You Will Get an Experienced Counter Person At The Dealership Who Has Been Around The Block!
You wouldn't think it would be that hard to find a replacement sun visor. FordPartsGiant appeared it might have one that would fit but they won't talk to you on the phone. And, refer you to a web site. I think that was four days ago and today I got an email that they are working on it. Not to impressed. Tried the Ford Dealers, parts but they're systems were down due to being hacked.
The Ford Parts Giant Site Gets The Parts From Don Sanderson Ford in Glendale Arizona. One of The Largest Dealers in the Country! You Could Call Them. Yes 1500 Customers of a Certain Dealer Computer System Did Get Hacked But There Are a Quite a Few Dealer Systems Out There So Not All Dealers are Effected.
I'm Pretty Confident The Number I Supplied Will Do The Deed and as I Said It Will Take The Right Counterperson Who Can Think Past AS BUILT Vin Info To Give You More Confidence on The Purchase. I'm Dependent on Available Info Online as I Do Not Have Access To Actual Ford Parts System. If I Were Still at The Dealership I Would Do An Inquiry To The Ford Parts Specifier and Ask The Question is This Part Number Visor The Same as The As Built Visor Specified EXCEPT For Spanish Verbage. Also Effort I Would Do on a Daily Basis That is Rare with Many Ford Parts People These Days Sad To Say!
I spoke with the local Ford Dealer, who are now back online. Can't help, part no longer available.
Called the Ford Dealer in Arizona, they were awesome in trying to help. In the end they couldn't. They referred me to another Parts company in Phoenix, turned out they didn't deal with interior parts at all. So, looks like I'm going to have to try and find wreaked Mustangs and find a used part. Thanks for the help.
