Silly question: shift *****

I currently have a black retro style **** from AM, but it's summer and that thing gets HOT in the sunlight. I mean can't drive until I've had the AC on for 5 minutes hot. I might just throw the stock back on from the summer but I'd prefer to get a white one like the one I have. Anyone have this? And if so does it get as ridiculously hot? Thanks for any input!

Got a billet aluminum **** in my car, thought I'd have the same problem but I don't.

I also use a sunshade in the windshield and have louvres on the rear window. Could be since my car is white it also doesn't get as hot inside.

Maybe put a sock on it?

Yeah that is the one I'm going to get, just wondering if it would be any better, which I think it would. Buying time!

i'd say buy a window shade like previously mentioned. less expensive and time consuming

I have the white retro shift **** from am and I've never had it get hot even when my car is parked outside for 8 hours straight while I'm at work.
