December 9th we brought my wife to Ohio and placed her in a Memory Care Facility. I too will be housed in the facility in another wing and floor. My wife and I have been together for 56 years so I made the decision to go with her and easier to see to her needs; something all of us will face at some point. We moved here from Idaho to be near our son and family. I have to return to Idaho to clean out the house and get the Mustang scheduled for its trip. When I get settled here, I will join the local Mustang Club in the Dayton area.SaveShare Reply
Congratulations on your 56 years. My wife and I have been together for 52 years. I like your tartan. Mine is the Henderson, but I don't have a photo handy.
Yep, 56 years, still in love and still like one another. Not so much just lately. I had to come up with some pretty creative lies to get her to fly out to Ohio and some medication from our doctor: didn't want to get thrown off the plane. The good part she doesn't remember two minutes later. I was in this band about 25 years. The Tartan is MacPherson Red.

Also, congrats on your 59 years of marriage together... Good to know that both you and your wife will be together at the same facility where you'll both get the very best of care and enjoy your golden years together...

I remember the Highland Games at Enumclaw, WA. On both Saturday and Sunday the bands would gather in a large infield. There were hundreds of players and they shook the ground. I think Enumclaw was something like the third largest games in the country.
