Premium should be hitting 3.00 a gallon here shortly. I could sell the "03 and still be a loyal stang fan because of the '96 Cobra I never sold. A Celica would probably cut my gas bill in half.
I'm trying to think ahead. I may be moving back to Atlanta towards the end of the year and analysts are saying premium could be 3.50 a gallon by then.
Tell me what to do brothers and sisters!

I wouldnt sell it. Just drive it once in a while if you have another car or if not use every trick in the book to save gas. As far as gas goes if 93 hits $3 my dad is going to start running 100 (or is it one 110 down there) in the 93.

Buy a used honda civic for comuting and keep the Cobra, garuntee you will absolutely regret selling it in the long run. I'm sure you can find a dependable used civic or even a corrola for 6k or less and drive the snot out of the little sucker and never average less than 22MPG and they last forever.
Heck whatever grade the cheap gas is in CA is going for $2.70/gallon. Luckily I live 3.5 miles from work and gasoline is my only vice

Gas prices ain't going down, but I would keep the Cobra and buy an even cheaper daily driver. If I had a Cobra in the garage, I wouldnt even mind taking the bus to save some money on gas and some mileage on the car

The Cobra will give you 12 mpg in the city on 93 octane gas, if you are nice to it.

Keep the Stang. We will have hydrogen cars once oil hits 70 dollars a barrel. Hydrogen becomes competitive then. It may take a few years to adjust, but gas prices should come down if the major economies switch to hydrogen. DREAMING
What we need are hydrogen conversion kits for the Stangs. MORE DREAMING
We need the political will to do this first.
Keep the Stang anyway.

Phew, I'm glad I can't drive yet. I have no clue how I'd pay for gas.
