question which do you like????

Okay I am always looking to improve my car. I do not want to over do it so I am asking opinions here. I recently was looking at my car and came up with an idea. I was thinking of painting the frame around the grill satin black much like the lower valence kit I have. I did a quick photo shop to get an idea. so which do you like white or satin????

Looking at them next to each other I am thinking toss up. I like the contrast the white brings but I also like the blacking out of the front.

I like the way it is IMO the headlights are more distinguishable this way. They seem to get lost in the other pic?

I'd leave it. Or just or get '10-'12 GT grill surround (black plastic one) and add the BOSS fog deletes

one of my rules of thumb on this car is not to remove anything unique to the California Special.

Then don't paint the grille surround because that is exactly what it will look like.

I show this car and I am completing it out before buying an older one to fix up. Can not show the car the same as last year because it would be old news.

if it was mine i would paint that black and center the tri-bar emblem. but for the stripes i would either leave it wit no stripes or get the gt500 style stripes because the single thick striped doesnt look right with the shaker scoop.

The tri bar emblem is unique to the GTCS. so anything Unique has to stay. I tried the double stripe and it did not look good at all. Just keep in mind that photos don't do justice and the shaker will still stand out.
I am not saying your wrong just opening up the debate. I have several other post and I am getting mixed reactions.

Yeah man, just leave the paint and all that stripes crap alone. It is a California "Special," don't do all that crap. Leave all the unique stuff, Ford got all the paint and stripes good. Just mess with the engine, exhaust, brakes, suspension, etc.
