Put my '14 GT on the dyno today...
I picked this car up in SC last weekend with 8,200 miles on the clock. Brembos, 3.73, m6, the mods are: GT500 mufflers, off road X, JLT & SCT tunes from Jon Lund. I drove it back to Iowa & really like the car so far.
I work at a shop with a Super Flow AWD dyno, so I figured today was a good day to get some "base" numbers. I have 2 tunes, in the SCT, both for 93, the car had 91/93 blend, mostly 91. First pull was with the ghost cam tune, it made 403/375. Switched tune to the other custom tune, no cool down & it went 402/373. The overlay of the 2 pulls are very similar, pretty impressive! I'll print the graph Monday & post it. I think the next step is going to be injectors & a e85 tune. :stir pot: Vid of the first pull. |
It doesn't surprise me one bit that the ghost-cam tune and the non-ghostly tune are VERY similar, since once off idle the ghostly tune IS a non-ghostly tune.
The ghost cam effect is only at idle, anything over that and it's a regular tune Nice numbers nevertheless ... I was at 405 rwhp and 387 rwtq with a custom tune and an Airaid "Race" CAI ... |
Any idea what it made with no mods ?

No, I bought it with the parts on it. I have the stock stuff, but don't plan on installing them to test it. |
Your GT sure does look good and sounds so very good on the dyno. Congratulations on scoring such a nice Mustang.
