Hey Everyone,

I am wanting to put together a board for my car for car shows and I was wondering if anyone has been able to narrow down how many of their exact spec was built. What I have been able to find so far is that there were 431 California Special Coupes made in Race Red for 2011. What I am wondering is how many of those had a manual transmission, how many had the comfort package, how many had the 3.73 rear end. Maybe I can get down to 1 of 5 or something like that, idk.

Also, if anyone knows a good place to actually order the board from, that would be appreciated.

 

Getting the numbers you need can certainly be done (see my placard below) but I have no recollection of where I obtained mine since it was so long ago. An internet search should help you, especially if you plug in 'California Special production numbers'.

Think twice about a board vs simple placards that you can place on your windshield or engine compartment. I've been to so many shows over the decades and there can be a lot of grief with boards as people hit them by accident, and worse of all, wind gusts can blow them over and damage adjacent cars.
Also, was there a special Ford advertisement for your 2011 CS?? They make for cool placards as well. I have both of mine laminated along with a copy of my window sticker.
