Potential New Mustanger Here
Hey everyone,
First time post here, I hope this is in the correct section.
I'm in the market for a 2017 Mustang V6. Just a base model, no additions or anything. I'm having trouble on pricing and was hoping that maybe some of you professionals might have some insight.
I've read that in order to come up with a fair price, I should find the invoice price and go up. However, this has been challenging for me. Everything I have found says the invoice on these models is around $30,000. The MSRP is $28,565. Thus far after e-mailing a few dealers, I have gotten a few responses that hover around $20,500-$21,000. How much further should I go? I was thinking my next step would be to goto the dealership and test drive one, then offer $19,500.
At this time there is a mass quantity of stock on Mustangs around my area (Dallas, TX). 98 Mustangs at a dealer, 75 at another, 55 at one, several with 30-50, etc. etc.
So any types of tips anyone might have would be greatly appreciated!
Again, sorry if this is int he wrong section.
Sincerely,
Joe
