Figures after I buy a case this shows up... I'll have to check it out when I get toy computer next.

Bill with the 4.10s, 305s ain't gonna matter. Although having less power might help. Still you're gonna have to hope I'm sitting still spinning the tire to get past me. I'm smelling an Irwindale showdown.
Good luck with that Brian. I've been trying to talk Bill into going to the track for close to two years with no luck.

Get me some slicks and I'll run circles around the three of you till you learn to control your new found power.

I'm sure you've all seen these on vendor websites. But these were the first pics I found of some actually installed. Look pretty cool. Then again everyone's probably broke after all the FI going around here.

Yup, Leo's been trying to talk me going to the track like forever (ever since I spanked him on the streets twice).

Run circles around us huh...

I like those lighted sills, but $275! Ouch!
I'm thinking headlight splitters again..

Headlight splitters? That's a first. I thought Tom was the only one looking into them. EIther way I dont' like headlight splitters on anything but the PJ and even then I'm not 100% on them.

Besides rims and tires all you need is a ducktail or some sort rear spoiler.

those door sills look great
I dont know that leo'd run circles around you, but he'd certaintly give you FI guys a good run with slicks...they make a huge difference, especially if the track is setup right. But a word of warning, with slicks, you have to keep an eye on them a lot. A pound or two difference in the slicks on our racecar (750hp) will make it launch one way or the other.

Well there we go! Brian vs Leo!!

Brian, if you loose, that'll be a big blow to the Whipple HO team.

R&R food... sign me up. I probably won't be there before 6:00, when I'm close I'll give you a call Bill.

Luis, I have the 3rd brakelight in my trunk.

Leo does have more experience but I don't think I'd lose. He could probably take me on the first run maybe even the second, but once I get my sea-legs I'd be gone.

Bill, I do think that 4.10s and your vortech vs. my 3.55s and whipple ought to be a good match. But you would HAVE to have at least the 305s first. The 235s ain't gonna cut it no matter what you do.

You should check out the Brenspeed deal, Leo you too, I promise that after gauges it's the next thing....... can you say Gov't check in May ??

Lighted door sills, not for me. I'd do painted sills in the Ford Racing colors though.

I agree w/Leo completely.
Splitters on the PJ fit the scheme, everywhere else nope.

As far as spoiler, what happened to the GT500 spoiler ??

I have a feeling, lower boost or not, your 4.10s are going to hurt you with acceleration. Talk about trying to keep power on the ground. Unless the 305s are going to be drag radials.

They are just too expensive. I don't know, I think they would give the front end something different and wouldn't look that bad. Like I said before, if they were like $50 painted, I'd order them just to try them out.

You still looking at 20" wheels? 4.10s = 3.73s.....

Oh just through on some DR's, or leave in 2nd gear.

You and Bill both should opt for some drag radials and head to the track! $10 goes to the winner; $100 goes to either of you that can break into the 11's.

Oh and while you're there, teach Leo how to drive.

What Brenspeed deal?

You see, that's why I don't have an aftermarket spoiler yet.. can't decide on one over the other.

+1 to that.

Stock tire diameter: 27.3"
305's: 27.2"

Why would the ratio change to 3.73?

Final Vortech update...

New Stainless Steel oil feed fitting installed.. zero leaks!

A-Pillar pod and gauges installed, only the 12V power source needs to be hooked up.

T-Bolt clamps installed, but was told that they may be a little long, but still tight.
I'll evaluate them in person and see if I need to go shorter.

Minor things left, firewall grommet needs to be sealed, fender liner and front tire re-installed, and install Shaker on top of the beast. All in all, maybe 1 1/2 hours left.

Pick-up is scheduled for this evening.
