All stripe surfaces have a fresh 2 coats and the rest have 4 coats (from a couple months ago). I'll probably lay 2 coats over everything later and call it even at 4 coats!

Hi Y'all.
I get my car back tomorrow. While we were waiting for the insurance check, I had it transferred to Service for some warranty checks.
1 - back seat alignment (it was crooked). They say they can't tell what I'm talking about. I'll have to show them.
2 - steering wheel alignment - they will do a full alignment after fixing #3
3 - the loud rubbing noise from the rear of the car at low speeds - They said that a select few of the '06's have had trouble with the limited slip differential. They had to order the parts from Houston and they'll be in tomorrow. So they'll fix it in the morning, then do an alignment, and I'll get to pick it up afternoon.
So, depending on how busy we are with the house, next weekend looks like it might be Zaino weekend for me. The bumper's gonna need it.

Mike (in FL) had the same problem with the low speed turning sound. He had the fix done with the clutch packs. Here is the TSB for it:

#2 has nothing to do with #3, though. They can do the alignment at any time.

Took my car to the dealership (finally) on the hesitation TSB. It was getting quite annoying. Only happened 3-4 times but that was 3-4 times too many!
Having them do the 5K multi point inspection, rotate tires, etc while they have her in(Yes I know I could do it myself but for $15 WTH) and it will be recorded in their system.
Do you guys have an account at My Ford? Can track your service records, maintenance requests, etc there.

I`m on MYFORD.
I took it in the other day to get the rear tint replaced and to check out the speedo. They said it was perfect <rolls eyes>. Oh well.....
But nothing on MYFORD about the visit.

After a cruise at highway speeds (usually 30 minutes or more) and then you come to a stop or slow down, then accelerate, the car bucks like it died for a sec then resumes as normal.
The TSB calls for replacing the Fuel Pump. Everyone says it has fixed it and the car is more responsive. Apparently air bubbles accumulate by the fuel pump and get sucked in when you slow down.
I will let you know my thoughts when I get it back.

Happened to me one time. I drive to work 35 to 40 minutes and it has never happened. Then, when we drove to Graphic-Express, we stopped to get a drink after about 1 hour of driving. The car was turned off, then when I started it and accelerated away, it bucked 1 time. Right away I thought that must be the problem Daryl mentioned. On the way back, though, we stopped again after about 1 hour and it didn't do it again.

I say if it does it even once, get the fuel pump replaced.
Not only is it annoying but could be a huge safety concern as well.

I guess the only way for me to find out is to take it out for at least an hour... but, where to go?

I made that first road trip the day I picked up my car, then to Dallas and back in April. Those were some longer trips at highway speeds. I don't remember any hesitation or bucking. But I sure would rather be safe than sorry.
Do you think there is a way for them to evaluate this in the shop? Would they replace the fuel pump for me anyway? Maybe I should just (fib) a little - I really HATE to lie - and report this as an issue.

Here's the TSB:

Looks like they won't just change it without a diagnostic to isolate the fuel pump as the problem.

What happened to me may not have been this problem. That's why I would wait for it to happen a few times before taking it in (like you).
