I'm thinking about getting that set, I think it would fit ducts in my front end

Brian came over and saw them.

Well here's the pics guys, comments?

And here's the end of the shaker tube, it's pointed at the bottom of the heat shield. I think I'm going to leave it for now. Thoughts?
Looks great

Thanks guys! It was on probably the smallest yacht called the Electra. About 75 people. Beautiful weather, great day all around!

Happy Birthday Ray!
When's the BBQ party over at your pad?

George- Heat shield turned out great!
I'd either leave the air duct as is, or remove it all together. Forget ducting it to the side of the heatshield, looking back at mine, it was a 'tupid idea.
Dang, that C&L looks brand new!

Leo- Went back to the MGW huh... too bad you didn't keep the first one.

Picked up the Fluidyne today at Brothers Performance in Corona, CA!

Had Jed, Kev, and Chris tag along for the ride, had lunch at On The Border slammin' some Cadillac Margaritas!

Pics from today...

puleeeze... By all means, if you feel your single core, glued plastic end capped stocker is fit for your FI engine, good for you!

Can't wait for your comments when I upgrade the factory sufficient brakes!

I still love ya Tom!

No write-up, it's all part of the Vortech install. Next pic I take of the radiator, it'll be in the car.

You mean we can't come over to eat your food and drink your beer?

j/k.. we should plan something this summer.
BTW, how many Mustangs can you park in your driveway?

The good hardware is yet to come.

You can come over and try, but there's not much in the fridge. We can park probably 4 or 5 Stangs.

Facts are facts...

- When stock, the '89's single-core radiator was plenty for the paltry 225 HP.

- When I upped it to over 400 HP, it couldn't keep up and would over heat. The Fluidyne 3-core radiator took care of the problem.

- When stock, the '06's single-core radiator was plenty and kept temps to around 195 (perfect for a FI car).

- When I upped it to over 550 HP, the single-core radiator keeps temps to around 195.

Does it look nice? Absolutely

Do you need it? Absolutely not

Check out the savings we have over having our mods installed. Of course, this is just a snapshot on just one shop, but you get the idea.

Nope... not worried at all. I increased HP by 87% and water temps increased by 0%.

In fact, the car just doesn't see sustained performance gains to require anything like that. It's a daily driver 99% of the time and goes to shows.

If I drag raced it... or road raced it... then heck YES I would have a better radiator... better brakes... better suspension... etc, etc.

The bottom line is, the chance of my stock radiator failing is just as good as the stock radiator in my Ranger with 230,000 miles failing.

Aluminum Radiator ?? I'm not entirely convinced that it's needed but I don't know. One of the gauges I plan on getting is a water temp to replace the bad stock one. I still believe that for the summer time here in So Cal an intercooler is more important and more critical to keep IAT temps in check.

But without being FI and checking the temps myself, it's hard to say for sure.
