George, that sucks about the tune. I'd be ticked off at this point.

Leo - I have it at 4 front and 5 rear. Pretty happy with it.

Bill - those are the rims I was thinking about

What's everyone's opinion on these rims for my car? Bill got my wheels turning
I'm looking for rims that do not stray too far from an oem look.

George - Hopefully it's here sooner.

That kid and parents who owned the Shelby GT will very likely be paying for all of that out of pocket. It was on the tarmac at an airport, right? Do you think any insurance company is going to cover an accident that happened off road? I know most don't cover incidents that happen on a closed course like a drag strip, road race course, etc. If I were them, I wouldn't worry about finding an insurance carrier- I'd worry about getting my a$$ sued off by the owner/operator of that plane LOL!

Those are the same rims as the "knight rider" car right? If so I think they look badass.

Maybe I'll get them before Luis does and force him to change course.

George, there's a guy at my work that just bought that Mystic paint Saleen from Sunset. Hasn't that car been sitting on the lot for a while? I have pics of what appears to be the same car from both 06 and 07 Sunset Showdown shows.

He paid $65k.

I don't know him, but I have a friend who does.

I'm not sure. I was looking at maybe a silver finish 18 inch staggered that's for sure. So yay or nay? Looks like Bill is going to get them before I get a chance
I might be able to get them cheaper than 2k. Have to ask around.

Get them Luis! Get them! Don't let Bill beat you to it. Be the leader not the follower.

Wow, can't believe they let it go for a bargain price of $65k.

Really, $18k for a 'rainbow' paint job?

We don't have the smartest people here at the big B.

Car's back from the dealer.

Airbag recall problem fixed. Shaker1000 replaced (To bad it's with the same kind I had before). Shifter problem was told it would continue to happen and that they'd only replace it once under warranty. So they advised I wait til I got closer to 36K. Probably BS but I didn't feel like aruging about it.

Leo I haven't read in detail about the airbag deal.... what's the scoop? Do they replace a part/sensor or something?

I don't really like them. I just don't like the design very much. They aren't bad, I would rather have the Shelby's Bill was looking at before.

So I guess they didn't change your strategy code.. good thing.

Sounds like on the shifter issue. They will only replace it once more and that's it?
