Good deal at $24k, but remember why you sold your Cobra.

Put a fraction of that cost into your PJ and it'll pounce that snake!

Gt500 pedals: clutch and brake pedal are on. Took five minutes. Now for the gas pedal. Instructions say 24 hours. Is that a strict rule? Opinions? I have to go run errands and I would rather be safe than sorry.

Bill- You're right about the D-Specs, they should come with the dust boots. I got lucky with mine being used and the guy sent an extra pair. We ended up cutting my stock boots because they were interfering with getting the shock out.

Tom- Hey now, SONICBOOST started that, not me! I actually like the avatar.

Just go ahead and get the Cobra George...it would good alongside the PJ right??

Luis- I don't think I waited 24 hours on mine. If you mess it up, you could always just put new 3M tape on like I did. Haven't had any problems since I put more on.

Does the gas pedal cover get glued on? If so, yeah, wait 24hrs.

edit: Just saw Kyle's response. 3M, no problem.. go drive it. If it falls off, I have a whole roll at Kevin's.

Was going to post the same thing.

Tom281 the Saleen looks fantastic. !! Very sleek & Mean looking.

Tom1 Nothing wrong with the grosse maus avatar. Heck he pays the bills, right ?

Quick UCA question ??
I bought a CHE adjustable UCA w/poly bushings recently, for the driveshaft install... I didn't need it, not that I checked the angle, but it's been several weeks now and no bump, bangs, grinding, vibrations or anything else to speak of (unless you count a nasty burn-out in front of my old place of employment...), so it seems safe to say I didn't need it. Should I sell it or keep it just in case ?? it is brand new and I only opened the box to make sure it was OK. I have the box and everything else that came with it.

If the overall opinion is to sell, first dibs to POTR regulars, then in about a week or so it'll be in the Parts For Sale area, along with my UDPs, Hurst shifter and the CDC 3rd brake light (in case anyone is interested.)

Why can't you return them for a full refund? I'd try that first.

And yeah, unless you have a specific reason to swap out your UCA, I see nothing wrong with the stock one.

I called CDC when I installed mine way back when. The guy from CDC told me that within 5 minutes 70% of the adhesion is place. The 24hrs is for 100% adhesion. You'll be fine.

Check it out this guy's got about the same mods and he's running 8.2's at my local track. Only catch is he's got drag radials.
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...39&postcount=4

So looks like the only thing holding me back from breaking into the 12's is my dam tires or lack there of.

Yep. I had a pretty good idea from my one time at qualcomm that any street tire would be useless there. That guy in the charger @ 7-11 was having problems with 10psi in the rear and what looked like 295s or so...

You've got a quick car there Leo, try Barona or a better prepared track. No matter what you do you aren't going to get away from the fact that Qualcomm is just a parking lot. It'll NEVER be as good as a real track.

Which is why I want to try Irwindale here soon. I hear it's a much better prepped track. Maybe with a softer street tire traction could indeed happen ??? I certainly want to hit it before I go FI. If anything to get a before and after.

LUIS.... did you have to have a helmet at Irwindale or did you already have one ??

If I plan on any track time, I think my next mod will be a helmet. Even though I was '' this close to buying some AutoVation pedals today. Hmmmm. Problem is a good full-face helmet is a good 300-400 bucks.

Spent A Lotta $$ Today

Okay guys, I am always listening to all the money you spend on mods and I am envious.
I don't plan doing any major mods until the warranty is up.
I have spent $40 bucks so far this winter on mods.
Where does all my money go?
I paid my car off today.
