j/k Jon... Yup, going with their custom tune that was developed on Tom's car when he had the non-cooled Vortech in it. From what I recall, he put out some decent numbers with a safe and stable A/F line.

Yeah, that Tom is a pretty cool dude........... handsome too.

You guys see this retractable front license plate holder? I may jump on this unfortunately my dealer did me a favor by drilling holes in my front bumper to mount my front license plate. I still like this............

Add an actuator to that so that it's motorized, and it'd be really cool.

I've seen that before. Cool, but I'd rather roll the dice.

Trying to put the mojo on me?

IF I get pulled over, the no front plate will be the least of my worries.

I'm itching for a mod. Problem is I can only get one or the other. Which of the following two would you chose? Looking to get either one early next month.

Tokico D-Spec
Avic D3

Tom281-Does the IPOD feature come standard with the avic-d3? Trying to figure out what if any add-on's I have to figure into the price.

BTW-I was doing the math on a 6k loan and the monthly payment was between 125 and 166 depending on the lenght of the loan. Hmmmm.....

I'd focus on performance first, then interior stuff later on. With that said, D-Specs! (I want to see how these work out myself. )

Once you check out my Vortech/Shaker/gauge setup in person, you may only need a 5k loan.

A S/C. If I'm under 35,000 miles by this time next year I'lll seriously consider it. I want it now but just can't swing it.

End of S/C talk for me.

Back to Tokico/Avic talk....

I've thought of it that way to but...I really want to be able to use an ipod in my dam car. That's the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on the Tokico's yet. Why couldn't Ford have put the dam aux cable in from the get go or atleast offer it as a retrofit.

My understanding for the avic is that there is a small controller that needs to be added for the iPod... somewhere I think on the MF board that cartronix.com ?? has the avic/iPod/bluetooth in a package for 650 or 699 ??
The pics I have seen look like the iPod control is really slick, unlike the brandmotion one.

Next year?? I have a feeling Leo will succumb to the Dark Side by year end by any means necessary.

I still vote D-Specs, but having a shiny new HU would be pretty cool too (don't forget the addt'l cost of the dash kit and wiring harness).

Yeah D-specs are very tempting. The thing that has me wanting to get them sooner rather than later is knowing your buddy Hector and his cool spring compressor won't be around for much longer.
