What about the way I cut off the shaker tube? I think it fills the "bathtub" while still bringing in fresh air, while NOT looking like I'm trying to feed air to the air cleaner.
Blue couplers look fine.

Nice idea on the Shaker tube cut. Not for me, but it makes all the sense in the world by having the ram air directed in the general area of the turbo.

I was just silly!

Did some burnouts last weekend? And we're now just hearing about it?
Any photographic evidence?

Thanks... it'll look better when the coupler on the Driver's side by the air cleaner matches.

The Shaker tube being cut like that almost hides itself and it really isn't noticeable. I think it's actually less noticeable than the "bathtub" would be. I just need to spray inside the tube now since you can see in.

yeah... my buddy put it on his facebook, it's at night too. So it's not great quality and if I could figure out how to pull it off the site I'd do it.

Tom-Glad to see the install is complete it looks great. The shaker duct looks good for your application. Especially since you kept the majority of the shroud.

BTW-Got my engine plaque today. Just in time for the show this weekend. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow.

Looks like I have to loosen the overaxle pip on the drivers side as it's to close to the panhard or axle whatever it bends over and makes a clunking sound over the smallest of bumps.

Leo's crunching in all the last minute mods he can before the show Sunday. Getting nervous Leo?

Is it from the welded bracket failing? Maybe causing the over-axle pipe to start drooping down?

Me nervous HA! I think your the nervous one.

Nope not sure if I told you but I took it to a local muffler shop and had it rewelded. I've read some threads where depending on how you move the over axle during tip adjustment the over axle will be bent in away that gives less clearance.

My friend, Dave... the driver of one of the cars to all the shows. I still kid him about that haircut!

You lost me...

"Business in the front, party in the back" is referring to your friend's haircut. No one has ever heard that expression regarding a mullet???
