You see not only did you save weight of the front end but you shaved off atleast 15 minutes of your install time.

I was told by Granatelli and verified with the tuner that all I have to do is go into the tuner and advance the timing 2 degrees to make the octane rating change.

The Predator came from FL and the tuner is only about an hour away. I talked to him and when it's all installed, I'll be driving over to his shop to get a custom tune.

He said the tune that came with the Predator is designed for my car with the turbo kit installed, but that he would like to make sure the air/fuel ratio at wide open throttle is between 11:1 and 12:1 at WOT. With it on the dyno he'll be able to "dail in the car and fine tune it to perfection"

Sounds good to me!
Tom, Your car is going to be a beast! looking foward to seeing some pics! Have fun with the install!!

I can't wait to see the finished product!

---------------

I need to find a boost controller before the custom dyno tune. The tuner said he would prefer that I had it (and a guage) installed so we can make sure the boost is exactly where we want it.

I haven't even searched for one, but he said that all I'll need is a "simple mechanical" one.

I was going to email Justin, but the guy I have been talking to (Scott) is from Melbourne. He provides the canned tunes for Granatelli's turbo kits. He knows all about the kit and how to make max power while keeping it safe at the same time.

I'll still talk to Justin, but so far I'm pretty happy with Scott's attidute and knowledge.

I will while having it tuned... but this isn't for awhile, yet - as much as I want it to be right NOW!

I think some buses are super- and turbo-charged... but I've never seen a car set up like that.

I just removed the shaker and looked at the K&N panel filter for the first time since I installed it. It's dirty, but not one love bug!

BTW...sorry I haven't been on here much lately. I just got so much stuff going on. But, whenever I sign on to TMS, I always read y'alls posts.

Just an update: I brought my car in for the top replacement yesterday. Wish me luck (fingers-crossed).

Hope it goes for a lot to help them out.

It's still a great showing of kindness, but I'm pretty sure "all proceeds" means any profit.
